Every session on this phone — and nowhere else.

01 · S Subjective — what clinicians report
The notes are eating your evenings.
“I see clients until six. Then I sit down and write notes until nine.”
— most clinicians, most weeks
Progress notes are the least clinical hour of the day. They pile up between sessions, follow you home, and the longer they wait, the more the details blur. Dictation apps help with typing but still leave you structuring every note yourself — and most of them send the audio to someone else's server to do it.
-
02 · O Objective — what the app does
Record the session. Review a finished, structured note.
-
1.
Record or import
Capture the session in the app — or bring in an existing audio file. Start hands-free with a Shortcut or an NFC tag on your desk.
-
2.
Transcribe on-device
Apple's on-device speech engine turns the audio into a transcript, privately, even with no internet connection at all.
-
3.
Get a structured note
On-device AI drafts the note in your format — review it, edit any section, copy or export it into your record system.

03 · A Assessment — why this is different
Private by architecture, not by policy.
Most AI note tools are cloud services: your session audio goes to their servers, their vendors, their retention policies. EchoCare Notes has no server. Transcription runs on Apple's on-device speech engine; the note is drafted by Apple Intelligence, on the phone in your hand. There is no third party handling client data — nothing to breach, nothing to subpoena from a vendor, no data-processing agreement to chase.
audio → transcript → note stays on your iPhone
encrypted · Face ID locked the internet — nothing sent, everEverything is stored encrypted at rest, behind Face ID or your passcode, hidden from the app switcher. Delete a session and it's gone — there is no cloud copy. The privacy policy is one sentence long where it counts: EchoCare Notes collects no data of any kind.
-
04 · P Plan — bringing it into your practice
What you need, and what happens next.
- An Apple Intelligence–capable device — iPhone 15 Pro or any iPhone 16 and later, or an M-series iPad
- iOS or iPadOS 26 with Apple Intelligence turned on
- $9.99, one time — no subscription, no per-note fees, no account
- Nothing else: no setup, no sign-in, no IT department
Does any client data ever leave the device?
No. Recording, transcription, note generation, and English↔Spanish translation all run on the phone. The app has no server and makes no network connections with your content — there is nothing for anyone to collect.
Which note formats does it write?
SOAP, DAP, and BIRP structured notes, plus a narrative summary and an outline. You can reformat an existing session without re-recording, and add standing instructions that shape how every note is written.
Does it work in Spanish?
Yes — choose English or Español before recording, and translate existing sessions between the two. Like everything else, translation happens on-device.
Spend the evening anywhere but your notes.
