Lunaday
Privacy Policy
Lunaday is built to keep your information on your device. It has no account or sign-in, shows no ads, and includes no analytics or tracking SDKs.
Location
To show accurate sun, moon, and tide times for where you are, Lunaday may use your device location, with your permission. Your location is used on your device to calculate these times and to find your nearest tide station. It is not stored on a server, shared, or used for advertising. If you don’t grant location access, Lunaday uses an approximate default location for these times — and moon phase and illumination don’t need your location at all.
Calendar
Lunaday is a calendar app: with your permission it reads and creates events in your device’s calendar through Apple’s EventKit. This stays on your device and is never sent to the developer or anyone else.
Tide data
Tide predictions come from the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) public tides & currents service. When you view tides, the app requests predictions for the relevant station from NOAA. These requests contain only what is needed to return tide data (such as a station identifier) — no account, name, or contact information. NOAA’s privacy practices are described at noaa.gov/protecting-your-privacy.
What we collect
Nothing is collected by us. Lunaday does not gather, store, or transmit personal information to the developer, and there is no profile or history kept off your device.
Lunaday is suitable for all ages.
